Starting 2012 with many options was exciting and yet before I knew it, January disappeared and using myself as an example some of those New Year’s resolutions have disappeared as well. But the month of romance is now upon us along with yet another reason to celebrate life.
Chocolate is one of the most uplifting treasures that a person can consume and is part of so many celebrations. We celebrate so much in the Midlands this month with the famous Midmar Mile which is the world’s largest open water swimming event. Brad Roets a teacher at Clifton Nottingham Road is celebrating his dear friend Craig Bainbridge’s life this year with the crazy CHOC Monster Biathalon. Cycling solo from Johannesburg to the Midmar Dam (600km) over four days he is then going to swim 8 crossings of the Dam to complete the Midmar 8 Mile Challenge. All of this to raise money for CHOC who as you know do the amazing work for Children with Cancer. We ask you to support this worthy cause.
